Volunteering

DSC_0187Our volunteers are some of the brightest, smartest, kindest, bravest, and most selfless folks we know – and we couldn’t do our work without them!  If you’re interested in helping join the LOVEboldly movement, here’s how!

Become a Volunteer or Advocate
If you can help out here and there as time allows, we’d love to add you to our Volunteer Alert newsletter list.  These emails will announce ways you can help out as we have needs. Or, become an Advocate.  LOVEboldly Advocates pledge to offer their support by sharing about our work with their friends, local community, and social media following. Get in touch with our volunteer coordinator by sending an email to loveboldlynow@gmail.com and we will add you to our lists!

Join Our Core-Team
Want to help out more?  LOVEboldly is currently seeking to fill numerous part-time unpaid positions to add to our core-team of volunteers. Are you passionate about the conversation on faith, sexuality, and gender identity? See our open volunteer positions below.  Positions will remain open until filled, but preference will be given to applications received by August 14th, 2016.

OPEN VOLUNTEER POSITIONS
These positions will help lead our efforts to empower willing Christians, LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer), and SSA (same-sex attracted) individuals to step towards loving one another boldly. We seek passionate, gracious people of peace to participate with us in this ministry of reconciliation with God, self, and others at the intersection of faith, sexuality, and gender identity.

Ideal candidates will have a desire to make a positive social impact, and will possess a passion for God, a desire to grow and learn new skills, a collaborative team spirit, a lighthearted sense of humor, and a sense of compassion for those who suffer. LOVEboldly will happily work with students and higher education institutions to offer mentorship and grant internship credit for any of the positions below. Prior experience or training is helpful for some of these roles, but not required for most positions unless otherwise noted. To learn more or apply, contact loveboldlynow@gmail.com.
